풀 드로잉에 빠져있다.
매일매일 조금씩 풀을 그려나가는 것의 반복,
모든 드로잉에 풀이 나기 시작한다
언제나 의도하지 않아도 자연스럽게 시작되는 mark making,
참 다행이다.
지금까지 반복되었던 다른 mark, 드로잉 요소들도 좋았지만
풀 드로잉은 반복적으로 그릴 수 있으면서도
단지 채워내는 것이 아니고
틀이 없다는 것,
살아있다는 점이 마음에 든다.

I am so into “drawing a grass” thesedays.
A repetition of drawing grasses makes me feel relieved and calm.
Grasses are all over my drawing, and glowing little by little everyday. 
I have been using many different kinds of drawing mark that I can draw repetitively on my work. What I like about a grass drawing is it is not just filling a space, or a shape.  It is not planned, but has a possibility to be more.
It is growing, and alive.
